ITH welcomes nine new apprentices

01.08.2014

Nine new apprentices recently started their apprenticeship at ITH Bolting Technology in Meschede, Germany. They started their education to become technical draftsmen, lathe and milling machine operators, industrial clerks and electricians. ITH General Manager Jörg Hohmann welcomed the new young colleagues to the ITH team.

Welcome at ITH Bolting Technology!

Meschede, Germany.

„For you starts a new and important part of your life today at ITH Bolting Technology", ITH General Manager Jörg Hohmann said to the new arrivals. In Germany apprenticeships generally take 3 to 4 years and the trainees usually start at the age of 16 after finishing school. During the apprenticeship they spent half of the time at school (job specific education) and 50 % at the employer to gain practical education. „All ITH colleagues will support you and help you to make your way successfully in the new working environment".

Gaining professional skills and values

However, Jörg Hohmann pointed out that there are also new duties coming with the new part of their life. Next to professional knowledge the trainees also have to learn values like

  • responsibility
  • reliability
  • sense of order
  • accuracy and
  • timeliness.

"As we have chosen you and know you we are confident that you have these values", Jörg Hohmann explained.

Who - in addition to these values - also proves his skills and diligence has all chances to make a career at ITH Bolting Technology as many careers have shown.
