ITH connects and celebrates 40th anniversary

23.05.2019

ITH does not only connect two components with each other, but also people and continents: More than 600 invited guests were welcomed at the ITH headquarter in Germany for the 40th anniversary celebrations. 51 international representatives came from 24 countries.

Meschede | Germany.

When Hans Hohmann founded ITH on 17th May 1979, his first innovation was the Bolt Tensioning Cylinder. His goal was to create a tool which connects two components more efficiently. 40 years later ITH Bolting Technology connects not only components, but also continents and people.

ITH connects – the motto of the 40th anniversary

From its beginnings in Hans Hohmann’s garage, ITH Bolting Technology has developed into the worldwide leading system supplier in bolting technology of today. The motto of the anniversary reflects important factors for this successful development.

“Our bolting tools connect two components – that’s their purpose”, Frank Hohmann explains, who leads the company together with his brother Jörg Hohmann in the second generation. “Furthermore we act internationally and therby connect continents”.

Over the years ITH’s international sales and service network has grown to currently twelve ITH-owned subsidiaries and more than 27 additional representatives.

Jörg Hohmann explains the third aspect of the motto: “ITH connects people. All employees of ITH worldwide contributed to the company’s growth with their passion. That is the most important aspect. We would like to thank everybody for their commitment and involvement”.

Multifaced celebrations

The 3-day-celebrations contained an international sales and service conference, an open house and a final party for all ITH employees, invited guests and business partners.

For the international conference – called “Bolting Day” – ITH welcomed 51 sales representatives from 24 countries all over the world.

In a 2-day program participants received information about new bolting tools and latest innovations. With 19 speeches and 9 practical tool demonstrations the conference program was tight, but useful to the engineers.

For employees, friends and business partners

ITH employees and business partners used the open house to gain a view behind the curtain and to see the modern and light production facility of ITH in Meschede, Germany, which was opened in 2016.

In addition to a barbeque and a bouncy castle for kids, the 614 guests were offered 1-hour guided tours through the company which was well appreciated.
In the evening the celebrations ended with a special party in the production area with more than 400 guests.
