The mechanical nut runner type MDS from ITH is a reliable solution for precise bolt connections in industrial environments. With a torque range of up to 14,000 Nm and a strong and resistant design, it meets the highest requirements in the oil and gas industry, mechanical engineering and the energy sector.
Innovative drive technology
The MDS’s high-powered planetary gearbox enables efficient torque transmission. The integrated shear-pin ensures safe operation when tightening and loosening bolt connections. A shear pin prevention of input overload protects the tool from damage.
Safe handling and versatility
The MDS is equipped with a square drive (1″ or 1 1/2″), which allows the use of various power sockets. Its compact design and fine tooth reaction arm offer maximum flexibility for different applications.
