Practical transport case with telecopic arm: The PDS, the compressed air precision control valve, reaction arm, and sockets can be stored in the case (picture shows optional extra strong case).
Special reaction arm
Special reaction arms are customized, like here the TWIN reaction arm for the PDS 1,400 at an underwater pipeline.
The fields of application for the PDS can be extended by these options.
Reaction arms and sockets
The standard fine-tooth reaction arm allows for full 360° positioning. TWIN reaction arm, swivel foot, and customized solutions available. The square drive is compatible with all square drive sockets including hexagon sockets and hexagon drive sockets.

This clutch bolt connection M36 (1 3/8'') of a tractor unit is torqued by the ITH Nur Runner PDS 250.
Head exchanger application 2 for the pneumatic torque wrench PDS
The ITH side drive can be applied easily on all ITH electric, battery-powered or pneumatic torque wrenches. The pictured ITH nut runner type PDS 250 tightens long threaded rods (M36 | 1 3 /8'') on a heat exchanger.
Pneumatic torque wrench PDS on a head exchanger - 1
Long threaded rods can be tightened easily using the ITH side drive. The reaction arm of the side drive has its reaction arm at the housing of the heat exchanger.

For tightening the underwater pipeline the PDS 1,400 shows its reaction point at the TWIN special reaction arm.

Pneumatic motor can be powered by standard air compressors; it can operate in areas where no electrical power is available.
Special version suitable for jobs in explosion-risk areas:
On demand the ITH PDS can be covered with a coating on the gearbox and reaction arm - ideal for applications in the oil and gas industry.
The required torque
is set via the compressed air precision control valve at idling according to the tabular data. The change gear (high and low gear) enables a higher range of rotational speed (optional) and faster work.
Independent rotation between handle and gearbox
ensures steady and optimal positioning of the ITH PDS. Various accessories like extensions, sockets, and special reaction arms are available.

For tightening and loosening bolt connections from M10 - M60, 250 Nm to 14,000 Nm. Operated by air power - ideal for places where no electrical power is available or is not permitted like the oil and gas industry.
Design
The torque of the pneumatic motor is multiplied by the compact high-performance planetary gearbox. The standard reaction arm carries the full torque of the reaction. Customized reaction arms (TWIN reaction arm, rotating foot) can be delivered based on customer needs.
Optionally the a change gear is available, due to the change gear the two gears (hi and low) consist in a higher area of preset torque values.
Independent rotation between handle and gearbox ensures steady and optimal positioning of the ITH PDS.
Function description
The desired torque value of the nut runner will be adjusted at the compressed air precision control valve. The value air pressure and torque values are listed in the data table supplied with the nut runner. The torque value can be set in 4 stages at the pneumatic motor (small, medium, high, very high).
