Precise pre-tensioning of large bolts
The ITH Bolt Tensioning Cylinders are specially designed for the safe and precise pre-tensioning of bolted joints in the M150 to M800 range. Thanks to the ITH Stretch Method, tightening occurs hydraulically, without friction or torsion – for maximum process reliability and even force distribution in the joint.
Patented safety features
For maximum work safety, the large cylinders have patented safety features, such as break load protection and ergonomic carrying handles | carrying belts. This minimizes risks during assembling and ensures convenient, easy-to-use and safe operation – even with high pre-load forces / preload.
Efficient operation with special hydraulic power units
Operation occurs via specially designed high-pressure hydraulic power units, which are designed for the high requirements and large dimensions. This enables several bolts to be pre-loaded, pre-tensioned quickly and in parallel, which reduces downtimes and increases assembly efficiency.
