Precise multi-tensioning for ring flanges
The ITH Bolt Tensioning Cylinder type Segment has been specially developed for the simultaneous pre-tensioning or loosening of several bolted connections on ring flanges. The parallel loading of all segments in the hydraulic circuit ensures that a uniform and highly precise preload is applied to each bolt. This reduces assembly errors and ensures optimum force distribution.
Reduced risk of leaks and maximum repeat accuracy
Simultaneous pre-loading minimizes local overstress and prevents uneven loads in the flange. This significantly reduces the risk of leaks in sensitive flange connections. Even with repeated maintenance work, the connection remains reliably tight and can be easily loosened and retensioned.
Digital process control and documentation
The segment cylinder can optionally be equipped with the ITH PD/PSD documentation system. This enables digital control, monitoring and complete documentation of the entire bolting process – a decisive advantage for quality-assured, traceable assembly processes.
Flexible adaptation to your application
The number and dimensions of the segments are individually adapted to the bolt pitch and flange diameter. This means you always receive a customized solution for your specific application – regardless of the bolting system.
