Hydraulic nut type HM Specifications

The ITH hydraulic nut combines precision, safety and efficiency in one tool. Developed for demanding bolting tasks, it offers an optimal solution for assembling and disassembling bolt connections under high pressure. With its strong and resistant design and innovative technology, it is ideal for industrial applications.

Frictionless pre-tensioning with the
system The ITH hydraulic nut type HM is specially designed for the precise and controlled pre-tensioning of bolt connections. Due to the hydraulic force application, the bolt is axially elongated without any friction or torsional forces acting. This allows you to achieve a uniform and repeatable preload – ideal for demanding industrial applications.

Simple assembling and safe application
After being threaded on (onto) the bolt, the hydraulic nut is connected to a pump via a high pressure hose line. The increasing hydraulic pressure causes the tension element to move axially upwards and elongate the bolt. Once the operating pressure is reached, the adjusting ring is fixed radially – the hydraulic nut remains permanently under tension on the bolt.

Flexible and usable in many ways
The hydraulic nut type HM can be used as a replacement for standard hexagonal or round nuts and is particularly suitable for radially freely accessible applications. It is available in various dimensions and for different preloads so that it can be optimally adapted to the respective requirements.
