With the ITH type TN tension nut, you are setting an innovative solution for the safe, precise and durable pre-loading, pre-tensioning of bolted connections – even at high temperatures and under demanding operating conditions.

Innovative differential thread principle
The ITH tension nut consists of three components and operates according to the differential thread principle. The pre-load force is transmitted purely axially from the Bolt Tensioning Cylinder to the bolt via the tension sleeve, thus avoiding additional torsional or bending loads.

Optimally suited for high-temperature areas
The tension nut offers decisive advantages, especially for connections exposed to high temperatures: There is no need to overcome high static friction when loosening, which significantly reduces the risk of damage to fasteners and tools. The bolts can be used several times without having to be replaced.

Efficient stress distribution and increased fatigue strength
The special thread of the tension sleeve and the FEM-optimized geometry achieve a very even stress distribution in the connection. This significantly increases the fatigue strength of the bolt compared to conventional nuts.

Simple retrofitting and system flexibility
The patented ITH tension nut can be fitted to existing bolts in a simple way – replacing the bolts is not necessary. This saves time and costs during assembling and maintenance.
