On September 23, 2025, the time had come: our managing directors Frank and Jörg Hohmann received the Hochsauerland District Business Award in a festive setting. The evening began with open networking and company tours for interested parties before the actual award ceremony began.
With the award, the district council recognized not only the economic successes, but also the social and community commitment of the brothers. District Administrator Dr. Karl Schneider emphasized in his laudatory speech: “Frank and Jörg Hohmann are the second generation to successfully manage the company with skill, diligence and investment. They identify with Meschede and the region, are a leading supplier of bolting technology worldwide and have written a success story in the relatively short history of the company.”
Mayor Christoph Weber also had words of praise and emphasized the importance of entrepreneurial activity for the city and region. The family also received a letter of congratulations from German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who highlighted the award as a sign of exemplary entrepreneurial spirit.
The award recognizes the entrepreneurial spirit, innovative strength and vision of the two managing directors. In addition to creating numerous jobs, Frank and Jörg Hohmann are also particularly committed to the region and the economy in the Hochsauerland district in their private lives. Frank Hohmann is the 1st Chairman of the Meschede Business Interest Group (IMW), a member of the VDI technical committee and two DIN standards committees. His brother Jörg Hohmann heads the Meschede Community Foundation and is involved in charitable institutions on a voluntary basis – including the Lions Club and the Kreuzbruderschaft. He is particularly interested in supporting young people through projects such as Klasse 2000, Kindergartenplus and Lions Quest.
In their acceptance speech, Frank and Jörg emphasized: “We will continue as before. That’s what we aspire to as a team, that’s what we live by. A big thank you to our families, our great employees and for the award. The fire is still burning here – and the third generation is already waiting in the wings.”
The evening was rounded off with canapés, cool drinks and stimulating conversation in a relaxed atmosphere.
