ITH Family Day 2025

On Saturday, August 30, 2025, the time had come: our first ITH Family Day attracted 680 registered guests – employees with their families and friends – to our company premises. With good weather and pleasant temperatures, there was a relaxed atmosphere and lively activity throughout the day.

Of course, there were plenty of refreshments on offer: in addition to cold drinks, coffee and cake, visitors were able to help themselves to a barbecue buffet with sausages, steaks, chips and vegetable skewers. For those with a sweet tooth, both young and old, there was also delicious ice cream to cool off in between.

Sporting action was also on the program: the karting club MSC Oeventrop built a track on which they trained with their youth group and, of course, our guests were able to get on the karts themselves during the breaks and turn a few laps. The young racers in particular were hard to stop and enthusiastically turned their laps around the course.

For the younger guests, there was a colorful children’s program that left nothing to be desired: a clown enchanted with balloon animals, the play mobile offered a bouncy castle, toboggan slide, horseshoe throwing and much more. A magician also delighted young and old alike with his stage show and the children’s face painting was not just for the kids – some of the grown-ups also had their faces painted with imaginative designs. For all those who wanted to test their strength, there was the classic “Hau den Lukas”, which provided plenty of laughter and competition.

A special highlight for car and motorsport fans was the exhibition of two ITH-sponsored vehicles: the Audi TT for Race4Friends and the Opel Corsa from MSC Oeventrop for Auto-Cross could be inspected up close and attracted a lot of attention.

Anyone interested in the production and history of ITH could take part inexciting tours of the company. Equipped with headphones and microphones, expert guides accompanied visitors through modern production, the warehouse and the exhibition of current products. We also presented application models such as cylinder head diesel engines and Large scale cylinders to make bolting technology and our operations even more tangible. This gave participants an insight into technical processes, innovative strength and the development of ITH over the years. The history of the family business was also vividly conveyed. At the end, visitors were able to put their newly acquired knowledge to the test in a quiz – those who had paid close attention were clearly ahead! In addition, an estimation game (“How many nuts are in the jar?”) invited visitors to take part – fun for young and old with great prizes.

All in all, the ITH Family Day 2025 was an all-round successful event: great weather, exciting activities, delicious food and a cheerful, relaxed atmosphere made the day unforgettable for young and old alike. A big thank you to all the employees who made this day possible.

We are already looking forward to the next edition of our Family Day, with even more action, fun and surprises – at the latest for the company’s 50th anniversary!
