Safety turning knuckle: Quick positioning
Safety turning knuckle: Quick positioning

Lockable  safety turning knuckle is positioned between  drive unit and gear unit. Thereby the knuckle enables to rotate the gearbox independently from the drive in a range from 0° to 360° when unlocked.  This means you can quickly adjust the support  without  readjusting the support. 

During bolting procedures the knuckle is locked and protects  the user's wrist from the occuring reaction moments which is to promote an ergonimic design.

  1. Supports (reaction arm):  
    The fine tootgh mounting point of the gear box allows easy  adjustment of the support  from 0° to 360°.  Supports are available in various designs:  with swivel foot,  conical , TWIN-support and  customized designs.

    Power wrench  sockets can easily be  secured on the four square drive with the  safety clamp .

  6. The lockable safety turning knuckle enables the gearbox unit to be positioned independently from the drive which means the ADS can be positioned quickly and easily. During the bolting process the user’s wrist gets protected from the occurring reaction forces, which promotea an ergonomic design.

  8. After reaching the target torque value the ITH battery nut runner type ADS turns off automatically. When target torque is reached the tool runs back a little which avoids that socket or support may get stuck on the bolt connection.

Overview and options
Cordless battery torque wrench type ADS Digital with ITH Smart Control and ITH Smart Control Plus.
 
 

Battery torque wrench ITH nut runner type ADS is available in three versions:

  1. ADS digital:  
    Torque set up, torque-angle set up (option Alpha only) and further application management by the extra hand-held "ITH Smart Control", which controls the ADS digital via wireless radio transmission. Alternatively, you can choose "ITH Smart Control Plus".
  2. ADS standard:  
    Manual set up of target torques by torque dial wheel and slide switch 1st gear / 2nd gear.
  3. ADS basic:
    One predetermined torque ex works.


These three versions can be combined with both types ADS straight version and type ADSw angle version.
