Can be adjusted in two dimensions to position the hydraulic hose in an optimal way.
With its asymmetrical shape adjustable in both directions and full 360° rotation the reaction arm of the CX offers optimal reaction points. The built-in lever lock enables to adjust the reaction arm quickly - no extra tool is needed. The foot of the support consits of an extra strong support plate.
The push-button lock is integrated into the support, which enables the support to adjusted easily in a 360° direction. There is no extra tool required.

Fastest bolting procedures with the dual-hose torque wrench system x: ITH hydraulic pump Hydro-DAX 21 and Hydraulic Torque Wrench CX 5 are designed for high oil flow rates. This bolted connection M30, SW 46 (1 1/8", 46 A/F) of the coupling of a rail car is torqued with 2,200 Nm.

These tower flange connections M48, SW80 (1 7/8", A/F 80) of wind turbines are tightened quickly with the hydraulic torque wrench CX 12 with 6,500 Nm . The remote control of the hydraulic pump Hydro-DAX 18 enables an easy and fast one-man control of the bolting process.
Standard ANSI flange connections are often used in the oil and gas industry. The CX torque wrench is ideal for this flange which has the nuts tightly spaced. For an optimal flange connection multiple CX wrenches can be used simultaneously in a series to torque all screws at the same time.

Application
The hydraulic torque wrenches type CX fit into radially limited spaces. For applications with varying reaction points the reaction arm can be easily adjusted, no extra parts or tools required. The dual-hose and TWIN-swivel connection offers various options to position the hydraulic hoses and fast operation with the ITH hydraulic pumps type DAX.
Features and layout
The high degree of adjustment possible with the reaction arm allows for positioning to get the best leverage on each bolt. The fine-tooth socket of the patented ratchet system guarantees a steady transfer of torque. The TWIN-swivel connection and dual-hose system offers a high amount of flexibility in tight places. The TWIN-swivel connection offers various options to position the hydraulic hoses. The component design (hydraulic cylinder, ratchet system, housing, and reaction arm) allows for quick replacement of worn parts.
Universal inserts: existing inserts and nuts can be used
Extensive application options are offered by use of inserts types CX-VE, CX-KSE, and CX-SE. Existing square drive sockets can be used with insert type CX-VE.
